Lake Crescent Lodge Dining Room

Came upon this restaurant while visiting Lake Crescent. The food and service was surprisingly good and got to enjoy our lunch with a wonderful view of the lake. Then we had troubles with our rental car and was stuck here for almost 6 hours until our replacement came. We got to enjoy the trails near the lake and also some board games in the lobby. While our car troubles totally ruined our initial day trip, it was a great way to fully enjoy the lake. Will surely visit again~

We came here just for a few drinks at the bar. It was really cool to sit in this 100+ year old lodge to enjoy our drink. The bartender who was working was amazing. This gal with dreads was incredibly busy the entire time and simply unphased. She had bar drinks to make, people would come order huge amounts of food and drinks, she kept the bar running, all while keeping cool. I was stressed thinking how much work she had but she was so kind and pleasant. What a wonderful place to stop for a bit.

My partner and I enjoyed this dining experience very much after a long day of hiking in Olympic National Park. As a person that eats a vegan diet, I was expecting to have no option other than a salad and potatoes, but they offer a vegan burger on their menu. It was definitely a delight to eat a filling meal after living off snacks and protein bars for the first half of the day. Also, the location is beautiful, and the dining views are calm and relaxing while you enjoy your meal. The lodge also has a variety of alcoholic options if you’re a drinker, along with a sunroom to relax and sip your drink while waiting for a table. Once you’re finished dining, you can enjoy a walk outside near the water and interact with the ducks.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while exploring the park over the weekend. The lunch menu stopped at 2:30 so while there was a short wait for a table (and we were short on time) we opted to sit in the lobby bar. There are only four barstools and luckily two were open. The next 45 minutes was spent completely stressing out for the poor bartender who was basically the bartender, bar back, barista, DJ and clerk. She was making drinks for inside the restaurant, trying to get through the queue, all while serving us at the bar. Whew, I felt so bad for her but she did the best she could with a smile! The food itself was fine. Honestly it wasn't as good as the food I had at Sol Duc yet had a higher price tag. The caesar salad was fine, standard caesar, but the chowder was more of a potato and bacon soup with clam juice. No full bits of clam to be found. The beer list was pretty good, at least they had Bodhizofa from Georgetown, and they'd serve it to you in either glass (for inside) or plastic (for outside.) You can also order takeout during any open restaurant hours for dining out by the lake or to take on your hike. Overall, it was nice to sit in the historic lobby but I'm not rushing to return for food.
